The visiting Director of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, (IALS) of the University of London, Prof. Carl Stychin joined his host, Ms. Irene Ansa-Asare, Rector of MountCrest University College and some senior members of staff of MountCrest to pay a courtesy call on former President John Agyekum Kufuor at his Peduase residence.
Former President Kufuor, who is the Founder of the Kufuor Foundation, which runs the Kufuor Scholars Programme, Prof. Stychin and Ms. Ansa-Asare discussed possible ways of working together to offer the best education to Ghana’s youth, while mentoring a critical mass of the country’s future change agents and leaders imbued with a strong sense of patriotism and innovative leadership, who will be problem solvers, creative thinkers and knowledgeable professionals. Prof. Stychin, who was in Accra from the 16th to 20th May, also engaged in extensive discussions with the Founder of MountCrest and its current Dean of Law, Mr. Kwaku Ansa-Asare, as well as students and staff.
