Entry Requirements

There are two (2) admissions in a year – February/March, September/October. Applicants can either apply online or apply manually. Kindly see below for step by step process of your preferred mode of application.

Online Application (Ghanaian Applicants)

  1. Ghanaian applicants should first purchase an E-Voucher for GH¢200 by following the 2steps listed here or by calling +233-302-263-202.
  2. Next click here to start the online application process.
  3. Please ensure that the following are met:
    1. UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
      • West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE). Holders must have credits (A1-C6/A-D respectively) in the following three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits (A1-C6/ A-D) in three Elective Subjects with an Aggregate Score of 24 or better in the relevant area of study.
      • Ordinary and Advanced Level (‘’O” Level and “A” Level) certificate holders must have credits in at least five C5 subjects at the GCE ‘0’ Level (or its equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics, plus at least two passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced Level.
      • Four passport size photographs
      • Three reference letters
      • Receipt number for verification of payment for admission forms
    2. UNDERGRADUATE COURSES FOR POST-DEGREE STUDENTS
      • Two authenticated copies of certificate (Degree)
      • Two original copies of transcripts
      • Four passport size photographs
      • Three reference letters
      • Receipt number for verification of payment for admission forms
    3. UNDERGRADUATE COURSES (MATURE STUDENTS)
      • Applicant’s must be 25yrs and above at the time of applying
      • Two original copies of transcripts
      • Four passport size photographs
      • Three reference letters
      • Receipt number for verification of payment for admission forms
    4. POSTGRADUATE COURSES
      • At least a Second Class Lower degree in the relevant field of study
      • Two original transcripts
      • Four passport size photographs
      • Three reference letters

Online Application (Foreign Applicants)

  1. UNDERGRADUATE COURSES

  5. ALL FOREIGN STUDENTS HAVE TO ENSURE THAT THE GHANA TERTIARY EDUCATION COUNCIL HAS APPROVED ALL THEIR CERTIFICATES  AND CLEARED THEM FOR ADMISSION.
